Mrs. Senter joined the Manheim Central School District leadership team in January 2009. She has served the district as the Director of Special Education and the Director of Student Services.
Prior to joining the team at Manheim Central, Mrs. Senter worked in the School District of Lancaster as a special education teacher and a special education consultant. She also worked for Montgomery County Public Schools in Rockville, Maryland where she was a special education teacher, special education coordinator and a consulting teacher.
Mrs. Senter’s education includes: an Associate of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education from Hesston College; a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education from Millersville University; a Masters of Education Degree in Teaching and Curriculum from The Pennsylvania State University; and a Graduate Certificate in School Administration and Supervision from The Johns Hopkins University. Mrs. Senter is currently working on a Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility at California University of Pennsylvania. She maintains certification in the areas of elementary and secondary principal, supervisor of curriculum and instruction, reading specialist, and supervisor of special education.
Mrs. Senter is looking forward to continuing her work at Manheim Central as the Assistant to the Superintendent. She resides in Manheim with her husband, chickens and kitties.
