Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide (SPTS)

SPTS develops educational materials and training programs for teens, parents, and educators, and its website contains separate sections for each group. SPTS is the developer of the Lifelines suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention programs, and the online course Making Educators Partners in Suicide Prevention for educators and school staff.

Suicide Prevention among LGBT Youth

Produced by the Suicide Prevention Resource Center in 2011, this webinar focuses on reducing the risk of suicide and increasing positive outcomes for LGBT youth. The presenters are Effie Malley, former Director, National Center for the Prevention of Youth Suicide, American Association of Suicidology; Caitlin Ryan, Director, Family Acceptance Project; and Dave Reynolds, Senior Public Policy and Research Manager, The Trevor Project.
