Occasionally, the District will seek bids and proposals through a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) process. These requests will be posted on this web site and, when required, advertised in the Lancaster newspapers.
For a listing of the RFP's currently (or recently) sought, please visit the RFP section of this site.

The District procures most of the supplies and equipment through the Joint Purchasing Board run by the collective of districts in Lancaster and Lebanon counties through the Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit #13 (IU13). All the commodity areas are bid through an on-line system powered by eSchoolMall.
For access to the Joint Purchasing Bidding system, follow the link to eSchoolMall.

Under the IU13 Joint Purchasing Program, many commodity areas have "catalog" bid-pricing that allow for individual purchases to be made at a pre-negotiated discount on their orders when placed following the instruction of each vendor. Using these catalogs to place orders on a variety of quantity allows the District to meet the requirements for obtaining three quotes for each purchase.
Please Note: The District must still bid all purchases over $10,000, and considers it prudent to obtain three quotes on all items exceeding $3,000 to ensure the best price is attained.
