My name is Alicia Ober, and I am the PTO president.

    I would personally like to welcome you back to school. As a PTO we are always working to support the students and staff here at Baron. Being a parent or guardian of a Baron student you are already a part of the PTO.

    In order for you to volunteer in any capacity at school events or in the classroom, you must complete a background check prior to volunteering. You can access this information at the district website, immediately, by clicking this link:  https://www.manheimcentral.org/domain/127.

    As in previous years we will be continuing to collect Boxtops for Education & Campbell labels throughout the year. Start saving your Boxtops and Campbell labels now! 

    Our annual budget is based on the previous year's fundraising and is about $15,000. With this budget, we are able to assist the school in many ways. We help pay for assemblies, field trip transportation, family events, teacher appreciation, and mini-grants. Mini-grants are awarded to faculty to help enhance their classrooms.

    Not all activities are fundraisers but pass along opportunities to the students and families at Baron. One event is the Scholastic Book Fair.  Our sales go toward buying a book for each student and for additional books for the classrooms.  

    Please consider helping with our parent-teacher organization.

    We meet the first Monday of every month in the library at 6:30 pm. Please join us as your schedule allows!
